Kick off the holiday season in downtown Raton at the annual Festival of Lights, presented by Raton MainStreet on Friday, November 27, 2026!

The festivities begin at 5:30 PM with the official City Tree Lighting ceremony at Ripley Park. Immediately following, stroll down Historic First Street from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM to experience the Static Festival of Lights Parade, where beautifully illuminated, Christmas-themed floats line the street for up to-close viewing.

Throughout the evening, explore the vibrant downtown area—shop at local merchants, check out the Mesa View Plaza soft opening (a project we’ve been working on at 120 S 1st St), and enjoy the art reception at the Old Pass Gallery. It’s a festive night of community, lights, and holiday cheer for the whole family!
