Experience the wonder! The 2026 International Santa Fe Trail Balloon Rally returns to beautiful Raton for three unforgettable days of color, excitement, and celebration. From July 3–5, 2026, hot air balloons from across the country will gather along the historic route of the Santa Fe Trail to create a spectacular display over our scenic mountain community.

Visitors and locals alike are invited to experience the magic of early morning balloon launches, breathtaking views, and family-friendly festivities throughout the 4th of July weekend. Watch as dozens of vibrant balloons rise into the skies, painting a stunning picture above the foothills of Raton Pass.

• Elks Lodge #865 Pancake Breakfast at 6:00 a.m.
• Morning mass balloon ascensions at 6:30 a.m. (weather permitting)
